Devlog #2


Good Evening! 

It's now been roughly 10 days since I started development on this side project, and it's been a rollercoaster. For a solid 2 days, I got stuck on my projectile system, which as you can see below has an early iteration implemented. 

The reason I got stuck, lies within my movement code for the projectile, which should have been a simple 3 lines of code max. Genius that I am however, I overcomplicated things (Hey, I never said I was a GOOD programmer!), which led me to 2 days of aggressively staring at my screen hoping that the code would magically fall into place. 

All's well that ends well though, and my solution seems to work fairly decently for now. It's been a very short devlog, but frankly not much has happened so far. Hopefully that will change soon though, as I start to get into the cooler parts of the dev process. That's all for me, and I hope that I will be able to provide a more thorough devlog next time.
